Island Sveta Anastasia
SV. ANASTASIA LTHO, GPS 42°28'10'N; 027°33'18'E
The lighthouse on the island of Sv. Anastasia is located in its northern part, but is visible from all points in Burgas Bay. It was opened on August 8, 1863, as one of a series of lighthouses of the company "Collas & Michel "and is two white permanent lights one above the other.
A lighthouse tower was built in 1914 next to the buildings of the old monastery. The optics removed from the lighthouse on St. Ivan was mounted on it. It was manufactured by the company "Barbier, Bénard & Turenne". The tower is a white circular concrete structure 12.0 m high. It was put into operation on 13 June 1914. It has a two-filament oil lamp and emits a steady white light.
In 1932, a new lighthouse apparatus was installed in which the oil lamp was replaced by an oil gas lamp, with flashing white and red lights. The red sector was designed primarily for protection from the underwater and overwater rocks around Cape Akin. The height of the light above sea level is 22,0 m. The lighthouse was electrified in 1963. The latest upgrade of the lighthouse optics was made in 2014, with the installation of a photovoltaic panel and a self-powered "SM - 20P2" LED illuminator.
The modern characteristics of the beacon are group flashing white and red light, with a periodicity of 8 sec: light - 2 sec, dark - 6 sec, with a sector of action of 360°, with a visibility of 20 nautical miles.
